On the Cross

Messiah's message

Christ obeyed there 

          We are saved there

          God’s displayed there

          On the cross

 

 

          Jesus bled there

          We are led there

          Adam’s dead there

          On the cross

 

 

          There’s no pride there 

          We have cried there

          Sin has died there

          On the cross

 

 

          A way’s been made there

          Our burden’s laid there         

          Our debt’s been paid there

          On the cross

 

 

          Well hope still glows there 

          His blood still flows there         

          His glory grows there

          On the cross
