Story Of A TearA Poem by LivIf tears had stories this would be it.Story of a Tear A silent truth escapes my eye Making its own water-slide, Slipping and falling down my face. It creates a winding road, That takes a sharp turn at my cheekbone And a twist at my cheek. After making it’s decent, It waits at my chin, Waiting to drip And soak into my shirt, Dabbing it with a barely noticeable splash. © 2015 Liv |
