The One Who Seeks The DarkA Poem by LivAnyone who's ever known a person who's suffering but refuses help might relate to this poem.I find thee collecting shadows of an abyss Placing brick by brick before the singular escape And your clawing, desperate hands Clutch my collar and tug down hysterically But the light burns your frail hands And so you let go. You shriek and hiss for relief, for aid, And pierce the ignorant ears of many. Those fair people send down a rope And you clamp your hands upon it. The rays of hope burn and blind your tragedy And so you lash and bury © 2014 LivAuthor's Note
