BUT YOU

BUT YOU

A Poem by Stuart Maleka
"

This is a writing I did in my high school in an evening I was bored and thinking about a girl I loved in a class below

"

I can't
Can't draw me away you
Happiness to me gross
Your presence for me net
You exhibit profound prudence
You in my heart taking precedence
Your love,reaching down my nerves
Healing my heart from mischief
Lasting, maintains my sense of humour

Appearing again
In thoughts and dreams, that is you again
My boxes and diary, your name remains
Just love again, my heart bargains
On my birthday eve
My heart did you steer
When you overcame fear
Got close to me near,
Whispered in my ear
Sweet nice kind words dear
Sweetened the atmosphere,
I couldn't help but bear.

I curse not
Bad times I curse not
They happened so i knew you
I wouldn't know someone cared much
Light is proven by darkness
I speak as the earth is witness
I got love sickness
I can't stand your sweetness
Princess your goodness
Look I love this
Not only the things about
But you
