Mwanzo

I can see the light, so, please breathe and keep on pushing. I'm almost home now; I'm hoping to be all that you are wishing I will be. Inhale then exhale one, two, and three. I will say a heart filled prayer so we both have a safe passage through.

 

I'm here now and it has seemed too been an eternity since we were last together.  Even though I can still feel your love, I know our heart and souls are no longer together. I use to need you for every ounce of my existence, now only my screams of agony are the only sounds that make you listen. But no matter what, I am here now and we are still so deeply in love, although you are so young, you have given me and the other soul in this room so much love.

 

Time is slowly passing and the place I'm in is getting smaller by the day. I have realized that the accident that I started with didn't leave me paralyzed all the way.  I can move now, but still can’t walk or talk. I can feel the hunger pains in my stomach so I must reach my hands out, so I grasp then swallow. Oh God, for some reason I can't breathe now, please, please can someone help me. I can feel myself fading back to the place that we both came from, then just at the moment I'm catapulted back into the new place where I had just started to belong. This is your place I now see a new face, in its hand it is holding something that I need, so I grab at it, now I can not breathe.

 

So tonight I rest, it has been a long journey from life to death, then life again. So I know the worst part of the journey has not begun, but I will settle for the moments we shared so far, and these memories will be ours. So let's sleep today, and tomorrow we start new, so hold me tight then I can feel your heart as it beats through your chest while it is in perfect sync with mine. Then as I close my eyes, I realize you will always be my second pair of eyes.
