Real Words Spoken

A Poem by Olando Lucas

Real Words Spoken

Is this the place that you want to be, you act as if this is the life God said it would be. You expect a valley that grows all the nutrients for your needs, but you have forgotten about the land that you left, it was left in the land where your hands use to bleed.

Now you stroke the ego of the minds of the ones that do not need to be, and you dream of something that you shall never see. You lost faith in the ones that brought you to this place right here. You judge the ones that you call hopeless, without seeing that you are the one that are in need of a seed.

So again I ask is this the place you want to be, or are you just jumping the broom, just so you seem, to be a part of the in crowd? When in reality you are always on the out. You have drowned the humble person within and now your life is all drowned out. You pray prayers that are said in vain, now you flock to the herd of wolves, when a flock of sheep is what HE needs. Then you settle for materialistic amenities as if they are a gift that you will take with you on the day that you leave. When you leave this place that you claimed you wanted to be, and you are trapped in a place that you never wanted to see. Remember that the one you considered hopeless were the people that HE has seen.
