Everything

Everything

A Poem by Stephanie

You are the air I inhale
You are so fragile and frail
You are the words never spoke
You are second hand smoke
You are my rage deep inside
You are those tears that I cry
You are all the joy I feel
You are the emotions I steal
You are the breeze that flows through my hair
You are a soft gentle stare
You are the reason I've become so blessed
You are my shame when I undress
You are the anchor hanging on my eyes
You are my ultimate demise
You forever bind me with chains
For you are the blood in my veins

Author's Note

Stephanie
The inspiration from this came from "The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot" by Brand New. The love for someone completely off limits, and feeling so strongly about them that the author felt as if they had become a part of them, and they were the reason for every good deed they performed, as well as their deepest pain.
