The Devil’s Gaol

You stalk this sweet Earth

with an arrogant swagger,

your conceited confidence

worn in your smirk.

As the angels of God

fall on their daggers

trying to save souls

you have besmirched.

But be warned Satan

I am arisen,

awakened from slumber

by the cries of brave hearts.

And I will stand square

till you are imprisoned

deep in the dungeon

you will never depart.

All I can really say, is if you were in the states, I might think you were speaking to me. On the one hand, this is a title that I have earned on the other, it is a nice bit of realism.
