Scumbag!

I hope the rumours of your death

are not exaggerated.

In fact I want to watch the replays

time and time again.

An Angel will then have

saved man and woman

from the dark grip

of the devil’s spawn

spewed upon this Café.

The sickly vomit smell,

the stench in our mouths

will then cease

as you sink into oblivion.

Normaly I am not a fan of the use of the vulgar or crass as it seems to be used all too often and merely for shock value but as this is 2013 not 1913 there is no longer any shock value but in this instance the first line hits like a hammer. Well penned.

I haven't felt this way about a human in a very long time. Mostly - its the resident feline that causes this type of ire in me. But not humans. And there is a reason for that. I suppose I am somewhat broken. this is a powerful write. There is a level of passion in it that I believe I would no longer be able to attain. But you captured it well.

Well you would think so but those who have been attacking seem to get off with it. My friend on the hand has been given a final written warning for retaliating to a bully who cam on to two different women then got nasty when rejected.

Excellent poem though... strong in emotion and conviction. Reminds me of a book I read about a particular view of the afterlife. The author gave views of different souls and how they viewed the afterlife. The one view that your poem jarred from my memory was of a group of people sitting in wooden pews, watching as several other souls were spitted and rotating over a huge fire while demons taunted them.

Thanks Mark. I know you are right but what has been going on on WC is despicable and I only became involved when I saw that the moderators were doing nothing to stop the attacks on Freida and Red and Angel. My friend also tried to defend the ladies and he has had two warnings!

Dear God in Heaven..........what is going on that is provoking such hatred, and venom on this site? You have certainly made your point clear, but aren't we just as guilty if we reply ill will with ill will? Love and forgiveness are the cure for malice! Love conquers all!!! I do take your point Sheila but most do not know what deceit and bullying of Freida and Angel has been going on simply because a certain persons overtures were rejected. Surely one must protect others and stand up to bullies who try to pass themselves off as the innocent party? Thanks for the review.
