Shatter

Shatter

A Poem by Derek Streidl
"

From "Tales of the Golden Age"

"

You are my beautiful weakness

My encumber bunt in triumph

The nightmare I woke up to and never wanted to cease

A disaster piece painted upon a black canvas

Yet hung on a velvet wall

My dear, sweet, complete disbelief

My gracious collapse

Inside fire, you are my water

My sweet relief

My masterpiece of ruination

My inner peaceful place of creation
