From the Pit of My Heart

A poetry on depression

 

Feelings of deep despair,
which grips me and tears at my skin.
The weight of the world rests on forlorn shoulders,
burying me further into the ground.
Unable to shout, to scream, to let it out,
it covers my heart with a shroud of pain.
Hiding myself away from the rest of the world,
unable to grasp their jovial dispositions.
No more care, no more wants,
just the need to finally be free.
So I turn to the thing that will make it end.
My lungs takes another painful breath,

     My Darkness

               My Death

                         The End
