The Road

A poetry about devotion and commitment

 

Walk with me, hand in hand,
down this long winding road.
It’s such a long way to the destination.
but I want to make this journey with you.
There will be rain, there will be sun,
and we will take it as it comes.
There will be times when the road gets tough.
I will pull you through as you would pull me.
Sometimes there will be a fork in the road,
but once again we will find the same path.
It will take effort to finish the journey together,
as well as love, strength, understanding, and communication.
But we have the perseverance to make it together.
When we get to the end, we will be as one forever.
