Lament

Lament

A Poem by The Young Lion Last Beat

I am reminded
of the hermetic bliss
I've had before alone
now that I'm
in the crowd with
aa myriad of sounds & voices
that are unfamiliar
and I long for the quietude
of my home and bedroom
where I create vast distances
between myself and anyone else
in the quiet pulsing of my heart or lover's
heart that comforts me whenever I am near.
I long for solitude
