Brian's Song

Brian's Song

A Poem by The Young Lion Last Beat

We use to watch
television together
& you sat in your chair
very close to the lcd screen

blurry-eyed viewing of the news
and drool pooled
beneath your chin
in shame of detiorating
body--No shame in my
eyes for you no shame
in my heart of you.
We use to watch
television together
and I was always
proud of you
