RISING SUN OF LATIN AMERICA

RISING SUN OF LATIN AMERICA

A Poem by Jonathan

I was born with these idealistic principles
Which are usually associated with communist
I give even though i dont have much to give
I lend a helping hand
Even if its only a pair of hands

Equality to a certain extent is of great necessity
Not just for certain people, but to everybody
Giant corporations do not create
This has always been the debate
But lets be real for once
Corporations only destroy and create turmoil

A sence of belonging is gone
I dont feel i belong in North America
An attraction i feel pushing me towards
South America and possibly Africa
Where i feel more of a connection with a people
A people i dont even know
With a culture i feel i belong to, deep in my soul
To help the masses have a chance at life
Instead of working like slaves, just waiting to die

I wish i could start this journey today
If it were up to me i wouldnt have it any other way
Thats to say if i had more time, and more money
The idea is always swimming in my head
Because i look forward to this day very much so
When the rising sun of Latin America goes back home

I really like your thoughts and ideas in this poem, you seem to be a really caring person and you couldn't be more spot on about corporations in my opinion. Nice write.

Interesting poem, I know latin american culture quite well and this is so spot on. Love your thoughts, i feel I know you more after this poem.
The collective unconscious embedded in our DNA, its calling you like the sea makes its mark upon a shell
