A LITTLE INSIGHT

A LITTLE INSIGHT

A Poem by Jonathan

Born in a violent and dangerous city
Born with little to no money
Lived in a garage for 12 years
Always wanted to cry, but held back the tears
Everyday was a constant struggle
If it wasnt racism
It was getting into trouble
Receiving endless criticism
If it wasnt the daily fights to near death with gang members
It was waiting for a suppose "GOD"
Waiting patiently for answers
In other words feeling like thiers no chance to prosper
Like if i was meant to be a born loser
Yet i never let this get me down
I never barried my head into the ground
Because i found, that this would be my fire
This would toughen me up
This would make me into a fighter
