The trial of faith... in love
A Chapter by stranger-n-life
The trial of faith is no 'leap of faith' in men's dogma, but simply the trial of whether one is truly loving to all, or not, in life ...
Quote:
James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth
temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life,
which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Enduring temptation, just as Jesus and the saints , is not by sinning
but by not sinning ...
This trial of faith to perfect love, cease to sin any more, is the
necessary step in sanctification in life that must be completed before
the return of Jesus [or one's death if sooner]
Quote:
1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much
more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with
fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing
of Jesus Christ:
Quote:
Matthew 5:48 Be ye
therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
The Father then is perfect, without sin , and expects the same of all
who follow Jesus , giving them all knowledge [John 16:13] in spirit
baptism to be able to see through satan's wily temptations and so reject
ALL sin any longer in their lives...
faith in Jesus is thus faith in his commandment to love as one's lord
commanding one to obey him, it is not shown by disobeying him and not
loving in continued sin , Jesus cannot be lord to those who disobey him
and continue to sin after baptism :-
Quote:
Luke 6:46 And why call
ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Thus Jesus says that he will reject all who are still sinners by his
return :-
Quote:
Matthew 7:23 And then
will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity.
The FOUNDATION of God then is sure, certain, , it is to depart from sin,
not to continue in it as most modern christians do :-
Quote:
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God
standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his.
And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
Romans 6:2... How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer
therein?
