Denial of life ...

Reflection on the way men live without knowing themselves inside, the long denial...

The race never won
empty work
profit none
for false values are set
so man will forget
but pause for a while
and evaluate style...

What's the depth of the smile that's engendered by guile?

... love's acts are abused
and its motives accused
for it has none you see
it just has to be free

...and we lost it for naught
trading values we caught
like infectious disease
life's no longer to please
so folks suffer for nothing
lies taught for mind-stuffing
the frustration is clear
but maintained by men's fear

...few want to stand out
so love's scarce and in doubt
we killed ourselves well
to live in this 'hell'
needing what none can get
too few giving

...and yet
we all know we need love
just don't manage to give....

most don't see we just die
from what we deny...

confused
most will flee
from their own certainty
How could many be wrong ?
