God is more than life

A reflection that what moves mankind is our spirit... most live whole lives in denial of what's within ... man made in the image of God is spirit, not the flesh most live by for now ...

God is more than life
God is more than love
most lose God in the strife the world is not above
the spirit most don't ask
...distracted by their task
and consciences ignore
not lovingness but war
till life will have its way
and death's illusions may
illuminate a soul
to know its one true goal
for wisdom has its way
one time if not today
deny it for a while
it's hearts that makes one smile
unloving nothingness
most lives for now I guess...

but love will have it's way
so all will love one day,
the promise set in stone
 that men will know we're one...
