Vision of the ages...

Vision of the ages...

A Poem by stranger-n-life

I had a vision of the night
through dawning of the day:
one first was black
 without the white,
 arms wrapped around the clay.
one white
 with blackened heart of laughter
 came before
and followed after...
Light in the darkness born
at midnight
from the womb was torn
declared the moon
by those in power
sought instead to build a tower
... deaths,
enigmatic ends
of life,
yet
 overcoming
found new friends
who work the hours
all through the night
for what all hearts
full know is right
and at the dawn
the c**k calls thrice
full loud again for death that's nice
the sceptred dance
against the dark
confirms to what all hearts will hearken
...love's kingdom
cast on new grounding
born from the death throes
 now abounding
