Beyond the words... allusions?

And suddenly,
as though concerned,
I wonder...
did you escape?

... would it not be better
if a  man
did not think
on his feet,
it is so much of a burden
 afterward... ?

So,
lest I forget again,
it is better not to
think we
know
what we want,
since we will only
have to deny it later...

We will need to go  beyond
mere words,
pointers...
and thoughts-
only crude machinations on
concepts worn beyond thin
at their limits ...
