Free hand...A Poem by stranger-n-life... exploration of true freedom in mankindthanks
for those so many tender words I felt that you had not ever come to say ... still, they ring clear, and loudest, still silently, their quietness comes home to me to speak of gentle things ...modestly but fair expression , countenanced by feelings' truth of tears ...urge overcomes, rejecting now all censorship of years allures' full pent-up passion freed aright, unfettered forms fall in with unaccustomed feathered flight, heart set above denial and despairing games, surpasses progress' paling propaganda's pains, past evil dross' mad mechanistic maimings ... then freed the fervour savours its delight, could heart continue to conceal the light, fenced in with fear's fierce fancied fright ? Nay, life is love-bourne, love to requite let dying dead their own foul carcass dread consort not with dark hate's deceitful head ...who judges then but they should not be judging, should fair judges higher still bear this fudging ? ...mouth's fairest love-born sword is mighty slick, cuts evil interference through right to the quick, sole noblest weapon of the bard and none can penetrate its guard, ...none trick the light's just-said behest for love's full noble endless quest ...power mightier yet than storming seas disarms our vulgar moralities ...unveils our paradox with ease justice reveals hypocrisies of those who mar themselves with hurt to hidden darker purpose in the dirt... Pen, freed from slavery's false ritual, twisted normality's sad victual, LOVE casts freely... adopting veil of modesty she knows so well... fair words of love become the bard tarnishing not ever, however tarred... full mercies swift engulf the normal pride, and prancing on, leaves all behind full mortified so fly! ... take this free- proffered hand, and I do bid the dance begin, throughout the land and step for two awhile with me amid the starry fantasy ...realms of this freedom's surest longed delight on eagles wings beyond the night and I will guard your truths with ever-faithful watch 'til mornings rays warm love's fair catch... © 2010 stranger-n-life |
