Aid for all damsels in distress ?

Aid for all damsels in distress ?

A Poem by stranger-n-life
"

Slightly whimsical entertaining tale about life' deep truth hidden deep in our hearts...

"
Its mythical of course  no doubt
... but perchance though
you may hear me out ?

The heroes of King Arthur's court,
all are dead
and laid to rest...
and all their valour came to naught
because they chose
 the 'noblest' quest
It was not bravery that failed
nor saving damsels in distress
but searching inside
was entailed
which none of them would ever guess...

A squire with a poet's heart rode out
to find his master in the field
but found a minister devout,
instead
a mystery revealed...
and so he sought the well of knowledge
in the fabled dragon's lair
and the dragon
of the adage
fled before his words so fair.

Thus the well
 was there above him
climbed he to the rocky shelf
peering in a face below him
he could only see
...himself.

... The moral of the story
may be clear or maybe not
is that we need never worry
if we do not have a lot
for the answer
to our question
when our earthly time is done
no matter what is our intention
facing God
we stand alone

About
A poet , looking inside and out for relations to the spirit of love that is so far 'above' this world ... truth of heart that tears apart the lies which many folks, for now, live by ... from which .. more..
