Where there's a way, there's a will ...

Where there's a way, there's a will ...

A Poem by stranger-n-life
"

The fate of normality ...

"
By senseless sounds
did careless crowds
decree
a way to hide away

in life they
never saw the sun
because they knew it not-to-be

in all their world
they
made
'what's fun'
and never doubted
'what-they-say'.

The mirror was my own device
to let them see
a sight
of dawn
but only hate was in their eyes,
confusion
 in their souls forlorn.

some spoke of satisfaction there
and 'progress'
that's beyond compare
a 'worthy goal' they said to search
d'you wish that
you could see
as much?

...and so,
in watching as they did,
the balance
of their mirth and woe,

I said:
" Is this the part you hid ? "

 They said:
"The way is hard , you know ! "

... I said:
" You  make  it hard
for all
who listen to your 'magic' note
and no-one rises but to fall "

They said:
"Why must you always
rock the boat ? "

About
A poet , looking inside and out for relations to the spirit of love that is so far 'above' this world ... truth of heart that tears apart the lies which many folks, for now, live by ... from which .. more..
