The Sunshine and the Shadows...

The Sunshine and the Shadows...

A Poem by stranger-n-life

One in time,
fell in here
in surprise recoil
from another...
sick searing stress
sustained
in  moments of
knowing all what we lost within...
through failing grasps,
in wild despair,
white flakes
of soothing sunshine
fall beyond thought,
sink slowly,
saunter
mockingly,
gaily laugh
our lies
to ourselves
to scorn...
but reeling still
the soul strikes out at the nothingness,
and finding none
yet lurches on,
blindly clawing
to tear away the
veil of sorrow
over love...
yet
finally
fears falter,
faulted feelings fade...
sentiently
secured and sure,
only so
is seen,
simultaneously,
sunshine  and  shadows
together sending  this scene
showing
love that satisfies
the contrast
to the life of lies ...
 to oneself

About
A poet , looking inside and out for relations to the spirit of love that is so far 'above' this world ... truth of heart that tears apart the lies which many folks, for now, live by ... from which .. more..
