I wrote this after I moved over 2,000 miles away from who I thought was the love of my life.

My feelings are a mess

Like the bun on top of my head

& the room I sleep in

Nothing feels right

Sometimes I wonder if moving was right

Or if you were the right person

But Wrong time

It kills me 

every night

Sometimes I dream of you

I dream of us

together

The moments we shared

Good and the bad

They were oh so beautiful

Just like your voice

When you rapped

Your favorite songs 

At the lake

Or in the car

Our favorite hangout spot

We were drunk & in love

Watching the stars twinkle

Remind me of your eyes

When you looked at me

you always smiled

I missed the way you looked at me

I miss the way you touched me 

I miss the way you kissed me 

& the day I left

The way you held me

so tight 

I miss you 

I wish I would've never left you

Or us behind

& every night 

I miss you
