There cannot be . . .

 

Light without the dark

Happiness without pain

Love without hate

Success without vain

Good without evil

Hope without doubt

Perfection without sin

Silent without a shout

There cannot be peace without war

Better without worse

Reward without punishment

Forward without reverse

Smile without a frown

And an up without a down

I cannot remember where I heard it, but someone said something along the line of " We cannot know virtue until we discover vice". This is a very true poem. It flows really well. Keep up the good work!
