Seasons

I'm in love with the seasons!

Some make my heart ache

Some make them soar

I prefer the rain

To the summer scorch

They teach you many lessons

Of what it means to be human

In this precious cycle of life

Forced to hold on,

Oh, Dear, Life!

Some are made for growing

Some teach us to let go

I watch them change with glee

And sometimes terror

Then I smile once again

At the lessons they always teach

Oh! What it is to be human!
