Catalyst

Catalyst

A Poem by StormeLight

Another step

Another string of moments

Another jaded catalyst

Contrast in everything

Creating joy where there is none

Letting everything just come undone

There's a black hole of despair

Uneasy, perturbed, splitting hairs

I can't stand the sight of my own shadow

So much worse, than just feeling hollow

It probably won't get better

But maybe that doesn't matter

If I just get stronger

If I just sit with it

A little, a little, a little longer

Maybe I can get stronger?

Just a little longer

Just a little longer
