"SAYING GOODBYE" (For Pam)A Poem by Sheri L.E. WilliamsLosing a loved one
As I sit here with pen in hand trying to write down what I had planned, the shaking of my fingertip's make's it impossible to control my grip's. Today I had to say good-bye and the tear's flowed from my eye's. Your battle was long and filled with pain. Now I see only rain. How can our time be over so soon? We never had time to fly to the moon. So young, you were------God, it all seems like a blur. I lay the letter in your hand's and look at your peaceful face. All I see is pure grace. Soar high with the angel's now my love, as you fly away with one white dove. Thank you for our wonderful life. Rest in Peace my lovely wife.
