THE ENTERPRISE"A Poem by Sheri L.E. WilliamsAbout Star Trek
To stand with awe at her mass, and step aboard her full of class. As the cadet's step up the ramp in third's, her massive size is beyond word's. The captain walk's onto her main deck, trying hard not to strain his neck. He look's around at all the beauty, but still aware of his mighty duty. All eye's are upon him, as the light's began to dim. He slowly move's to the captain's chair, trying not to notice all the stare's. It feel's good, to sit and be at home. No longer wanting to run or roam. Just to travel the skies and see the star's, with no hold bar's. Here she is--------------------THE ENTERPRISE. To watch over and take care of, with kidded glove's. And her captain, JAMES T. KIRK. A man, a name and a passion for right and wrong. Mr. Spock along his side, to keep him from going head on. Many loved the man, many feared, but oh was he revered.
