Heartbreak

A poem about a broken heart

Rain falls

On the window pane

I sit in silence

Agony has pierced my heart

Like a board hit by a dart

Love

Love hurts

Love makes me want to scream

You’re gone

Never again.

I will warn those who dare to fall

For you

If I can stop one heart from breaking

I shall not live in vain

For you will then be lonely

But I promise

That I will live

And

I will learn

To give my heart

Again.
