IN A DARK PLACE
I would never do it... That doesn't stop me from thinking about it. Enough is enough I am not strong Push me down again Or I can sabotage myself A dozen 'what if' scenarios Play out in succession Hovering over details, It keeps me from acting, Until I find the right one. The one that'll suit this spiral, I'm heading down. I hate myself, I should turn around But I'm already down. A car, Peak hour traffic. A fall, From a dazzling height. A cut,
From a sparkling blade. All I would need is to take that first step I stand on the edge, I can see myself teeter... I would never do it... That's what I always said Now, I'm not so sure. © 2011 Alicia_SkyeFeatured Review
