Silent Beauty

Silent Beauty

A Poem by Alicia_Skye
"

So I have a thing for churches, I'm not wicked religious, the only times I've been to church are for weddings and funerals. But there's something really beautiful about them.

"
SILENT BEAUTY

I sit in a church and observe
People around me,
Empty spaces
Silent prayers,
People's faces

I am here and I'm wondering
What their reasons for coming are?
To ask for guidance?
To ask for forgiveness?
To wish someone back?
To hope their path is on track?

I am here, I do not pray
I'm not a regular,
I have my own faith
This silent beauty
I'm surrounded by,
No wonder all these people cry
