Magic Of The Man In The Moon

Magic Of The Man In The Moon

A Poem by KAREN

I catch a wave of subtle delight, and desire warms my soul.

I'm drifting into the twilight

and I see eyes ignite with wishes,

briskly filling the air

as magical dreams come true.

Romance buds into reality

right before my wandering eyes,

and I almost hear you whisper.

Passionate thoughts race within,

your smile opens a window

and the outer banks of my heart

explore every emotion.

I catch a wave of subtle delight,

and desire warms my soul.

Elegnant sliver lining

holds the secret of mystical

happenings surrounding me.

Dramatic phases cause

my body to yearn for the

touch of your pearly hand.

Rhyme and poetic verses

of your voice soothe me.

Music flows upon your orbit,

and I close my eyes,

wishing one last time.

Lips trial down my cheek

as arms wrap around me.

I smile as I take one last

look at the man in the moon.

I realize my dream has already

come true.
