Music Everywhere

Music Everywhere

A Poem by KAREN

Upon the harmony of the winds

Trees sing a song

Whistles flow through the air

Chimes hum along

An old rocker joins in tenor

Birds flutter about, tender voices sing

Creatures run about in rhythm

Music spills from cornor to cornor

Lyrics of captiving sounds,

Soothing and peaceful whisper a lullaby

Thunder claps a melody

Lightning sparks the sky

Rain pelts down,

Lulling a soft magical spell

to a violent storm

While on the crisp green grass

Little feet scamper about

Young children bleat in glee

Shrill voices play along

Their tunes linger on

A romantic fire crackles

Lovers plant sensual kisses

Bodies dance to the sequence of notes

As moans of pleasure join in tune

Music can be heard everywhere

The world is an open hymnal

A collection of tunes

Waiting to be noticed
