Alone In The WoodsA Poem by KARENFor the creative poetry group.
Noises creep all around Footsteps crunch on fallen leaves An owl beckons his call in the darkness Whispers of a deep voice filters the air
Bare trees sends a prickling chill Shadows lurk behind the stillness Splendor of the woods has become eerie A scream sounds from her own voice
The full moon hides itself Movement moves closer Gripping fear rises like the thick fog
Claws snag her dress Wet tonuge licks her lips Red eyes burn through the darkness
Panic overpowers her Her face turns ghostly Weak voice begs for mercy
Laughter echoes costume falls to the ground Boyfriend hugs her
Grilfriend gives a hard slap And leaves him in the woods
A creature wanders in the distance
