Changing WaysA Poem by KARENFore the creative poetry group. Two challenges in one! Words are posted in the tags! We also had to write about a quote, which is written at the end of the poem.Loki was her nickname she wore proudly Like a crown upon her head Because of shenanigans in her heart Disposition was dead Puerile ways paled her aura Antic jokes was endlessly
Years gone by she now soars With divine glory clothing her When leaves rustles in the wind The overhanging tree cascades Her with cool touches of nirvana Heart ceaselessly talks to her Of kindness she has desseminated
Free from the bonds of selfabsorbent Kind words she sprinkles about Meaningful moments follow her every step Captived by a yearning of helping others Well-suited words spoken or received Is the formula for her life
She wears a beatific smile Keeps the path of good deeds fresh Where she is greeted with eager kindness Like a soft gentle word that Mellows her heart to a soft rhythm
Each step she takes feels like levity Trifling days now of the past She sits in her comos garden Solar rays gleaming down She thinks of her favorite quote
"Little deeds of kindness, Little words of love, Make our earth an Eden, Like the heaven above." By: Julia A. Fletcher Carney
