Your touch trailing down my spine

 Eyes of deep blue sea

 How they shimmer in the light

 Laying together on soft silk sheets

Entwined and so complete

I love the tone of this piece, you stretched out the happy feeling to the perfect length before informing us of said lover's deception in the second to last stanza. I also love the repetition, it nails the idea into the reader's head perfectly. Nicely done!

At first in the beginning it made me think of long distance relationships. Which made me want to continue reading more and more, but then I realized that it was a longing of despair and loss. This was very good, even if the ideas were already overused. Good job, filled with so much raw emotion.
