What I Am

For the creative poetry group. We had to write about ourselves.

I'm a genteel person,

living in submissive dreams.

Voices so acute and real,

telling me who I am,

or who I should be.

A tender heart

and an optimistic mind

helps me to succeed.

Joyful soul mixed with

a soft sensitive side

keeps me pushing on.

[Coyote Poetry]

Life can lead us to many places. Better to be a person who can bend and is willing to listen. A tender heart and optimistic will know happiness and peace. I like the ending to the excellent poem.
