Adultery Bliss! (For The Creative Poetry Group!)

Two people meant to be together.

Casual eyes stare into his,

tempting him with a smile.

Hearts full of love.

 

She puckers her lips,

Labret ear ring sparkles.

His tongue teases her's.

Bodies combine in intimancy.

 

Mantic mind tells her

he is the one.

They are in a time

machine of forever.

Wrapped in silk sheets,

and perfect passion.

 

Their sardonic friends

say they won't last,

wake up from deceitful land.

We say love remains

and life goes on.

 

Aroma of a sweet scone

tantalize their noses.

Sugary lips kiss.

One man, One woman

living in adultery  heaven.

 

Feeling of being in

a labyrinth of lies.

Each married to another,

but they pervert their

hearts that love remains

and life goes on.

Interesting view...an adulterous affair that others don't approve of and think won't last, but they turn their noses up and close their eyes, remaining in their love-addled bliss. Reality will shatter their bubble eventually, as it can never truly remain a "secret." But then, this is the experienced cynic, speaking...very provoking!

Perverted love, adultery, rationalization. If the forces of attraction between two people are strong enough, morality gives way to animalistic desire and passion. It is love that keeps them together, regardless of societal or religious sanctions that try, in vain, to tear them apart. Mankind is not monogamous by nature. Love is everlasting despite the outcome of this couple.
