Words to live by!

Fill the soul with

lovingkindness and tender mercy.

Attitude chilling with patience.

Strength measured by the cup.

season the heart with peace,

folding comfort in with hugs.

Face each other with faith,

blending in a dab of hope.

Understanding stirred in by the carton.

Pop open a bottle of laughter,

and let it bubble over.

Sprinkle in a packet of romace,

sweet kisses on lips.

Melt together desire and passion

with the heat of entwined bodies.

Keep warm with loving arms,

and serve daily.

Second line, space between loving and kindness.

Very beautiful poem. A part of me wishes it had actually been formulated to look like a recipe, but then it may turn out an entirely different poem.

Oh wow! This is amazing! The entire poem offers that perfect feeling of serenity and hope yet these lines... "Pop open a bottle of laughter, and let it bubble over. Sprinkle in a packet of romance, sweet kisses on lips." I completely LOVE these lines, the imagery and word play was just superb. I agree these are surely words to live by and so wonderfully stated too.
