What's In The Heart?A Poem by KARENHatred gnawing vessels, leaving pools of anger, causing hollowness through and through.
Sadness flowing like an crimson red river through every vein and pore, beading up into tears of sorrow.
Pain slicing like blades, cutting all lines to fulfillment, leaving thick emptiness behind.
Happiness welling up the frown, twisting it into laughter, spilling joyful music through the lips.
Joy exploding like fire crackers, in the depths of a soul, sparking flashes of excitement into the air.
Peace quietly swimming around, relaxing and calming every nerve, filling all holes of loneliness.
Comfort sweeping out all bitterness, sorrow, and anger, leaving the greatest of all, love.
Love pumping with the beating rhythm, fighting away impurities, leaving nothing but healthy habits.
