Into The Night

Two lovers that has to wait until night to be together!

I sit in awe,

staring into space.

Your marvelous beauty

takes my breath away.

 

Strawberry red hair,

blowing in the wind.

Sparks of moon light,

making you glow.

 

Your porcelain skin,

and slender body

is so prefectly put together.

I want to hold you

and never let you go.

 

I spread the blanket out,

lay you down carefully.

I contemplate on my next move,

not wanting to scare you away.

 

My lips spreads into a smile.

I kiss you deeply,

tasting the sweetness of you.

We bellow out in unison,

our hunger being fed.

 

The crickets plays a melody.

We dance around in the darkness,

our arms tightly  around each other.

 

I see a shooting star,

closing my eyes I make a wish.

I wish you would bite my neck,

but you refuse to bring me into your world.

 

My beautiful vampire,

if only nights could last forever.

I find vampire themes confusing. I just imagine Vincent Price grinning and his vampires pouting fake blood. I think Bram Stoker and his characters would be bemused by the modern concept of his toothy girls. Bring back Vlad the Impaler! It was so simple in his day!

hahaha, didn't know this was a vampire. Little hints you gave but I missed them in the beginning and middle. Is it possible that the vampire won't bite you because they are scared of commitment and once bitten it is forever isn't it? Very sensual and loving write.
