I See

I See

A Poem by KAREN
"

What one may see in the one they love!

"

I see a heart made of gold,

beautiful ocean blue eyes,

and a smile that warms my soul.

But you don't see what I see!

I see loving arms,

soft skin to touch,

and a strong built body.

But you don't see what I see!

I see a wonderful man

who will do anything for me,

and always will love me.

I see someone who is....

caring, humorous, sexy, loving,

beautiful, fun, outgoing.

But you don't see what I see!

I  ask him, "what do you see?"

He says, "I see you, and that's all I need to see!"

the true fullness of love comes from seeing the beauty of the other and not looking at oneself.
