I See My Heart in Your eyes

I See My Heart in Your eyes

A Poem by KAREN
"

A love poem

"

Your lips melt into
my skin
because our dreams
breathe precious rhymes
that we only hear,
and that's when I saw
my heart in your eyes.

Somewhere in the depth
of your soul
I found silent love,
and desire
holding us together
where our bodies surrender.

I smell your scent
that caresses my thoughts
as words find
the softest part
of your touch.

We find ourselves
while time
drifts slowly
across our passion,
and another love story
is printed within
sultry dreams
where I see
my heart in
your eyes.

The eyes are the windows of the soul. Silent love makes me think about illicit love affairs, where the joy of love can't be shared. This poem is beautifully expressed.

Is this true or part of that so called love of our day which is adultery until and only if the former one takes you back or joins you in adultery with yet another leading to the exponential sin we have nowadays? Go back to him after your next one or pray he also commits adultery, a curse only Jesus can forgive for he died for their sins. But going from one to another all the time leaves you sticky. When the paste dies they are left like the pillar that Lot''s wife became and we all know where that led. It let to incest and a people born out of wedlock into and from incest. I'm sorry but your poem made me sad in the light of the spirit of earth as they all go back to dust and ashes. Only dust.

Man! You sure got love down to a magical potion and worthy science. Every sentence is soft, tender and touching.

Sensual and romantic. A sense of drifting off into passion and a sense of obsession. Well done.
