Love Once Lived In A Lost Heart

Love Once Lived In A Lost Heart

Wistful tears flow in the after glow

A profound dream reflects empty emotions

Silent memories kiss a broken life

Expressions of pain absorb into rhythmic songs

Colorless whispers ensure the tone of a lonely reality

Textured thoughts wither her mind,

While her shipwrecked  heart sings,

Sos

Sorrow meditates and embrace the cold

Warmth weeps visions of love buried beneath broken promises

Laughter dances briefly  upon the sunny breeze

Time breathes in array of shimmering touches

That fade in passing hours etched from long ago,

While her shipwrecked heart sings,

Sos

A cloak of despair soars in eloquence,

Tracing the last tender shadows of love they once shared

Lyrical voices reveal the yearning she feels

her prelude now reminiscences in blooms of darkness

Togetherness is now a shallow envision,

While her shipwrecked heart sings,

Sos

A taste of him still lingers in the depth of her impression

Inner strength fades with her solitude

Anguish encourages distant affection to imitate her

Stillness of tomorrow's future arches two bodies that have grown apart,

While her shipwrecked heart sings,

Sos

Thank you, Dear friend!
I like this homage to longing. To carry the empty candle holder while we walk aimless in the darkness, long after the wax from the candle has vaporized,,,,, Excellent word choices, that extract vivid images from the darkened mist.

Such a beautifully bittersweet song... the sounds of sorrow flowing from a heart once full.. once free... Moving and lyric in its soft lines...

You are back with a bang I'd say, this is quite a piece, a ship wreck to represent emotions is a great image metaphor/analogy.

Nice photo too

This is a stunning piece of work. As I read I was taken away, adrift on a sorrowful sea. I could feel the longng and the desire of her heart. You have captured the emotion of needing so nicely here. Very nice.
