The old oneA Story by stories from xxBased on my experience when visiting a nursing home
It’s such a nice day, but for them it’s just a usual day
Nothing changes there, just the time, and the sky But suddenly, there, lots of younger teenagers come to visit It’s no longer the same day as usual Dance, sing, smile, laugh, even cry Telling stories of the precious moments Perhaps they only feel it once in a week, or months, or even years They are not the same as us anymore They can no longer run, they can only walk, step by step, weakly They don’t have gadget, their only friends are the people there Bed, chairs, television, microphone, guitar But they, cherish all the time left of their life, more than us Laugh and cry from the bottom of their heart, knowing there won’t be much time for them Dance and sing the loudest, like it’s the last day of their life Why, won’t you care for them? Why, they must end in a place like that? Don’t you have much more time? Are you really that busy, so you can’t take care of them? Without them, you didn’t even exist in this world Will you go back to those times, when they truly care about you? When they didn’t even leave you alone? Will you? Just why, did they have to end in that place? © 2016 stories from xx |
