In The Mirror

I just found this deep within my computer memory and figured I'd put it up. Enjoy

I look deeply in the mirror,

Trying to see, what isn’t there.

 A monster stares back.

If only I could see my face,

My long lost face.

 

Though its expression is mine,

I cannot find,

My face.

My long lost face,

I miss you.

Won’t you please come back?

 

A monster now,

That is all I see.

A monster now,

Is that what I have turned into?

Is that all others see?

A monster, is me.
