The Solitary Flower

The Solitary Flower

A Poem by Stephen T

The solitary flower

 We continue our journey

Thinking as we travel

Worrying about this

Wondering about that

... Wanting more

And

Not knowing

Where it’s coming from

Then we see

A solitary flower

Grasping

At that teaspoon of dirt

In the rocky bluff

Thriving

On what it has

It pays no attention

To the flowers in the valley

Whom have

An abundance of dirt

For it is

Ever bit as beautiful

And then we realize

This is one of Gods

Attitude adjusting seminars

We welcome

The keynote speaker…..

The solitary flower
